• Breaking Dawn;

[SPOILERS AHEAD. FOSHIZZLE. XD]

This is pretty much the longest post ever.
XDDDDD

Hokay, so, I spent all day reading and I've finished Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. It started off in a way so unbearably cheesy that I had lost all hope for the book, but then redeemed itself in the end, so it all worked out okay. Before I launch into the longest rant evur, here's a recap of the books before BD ;D

First there's Twilight, which everyone in the entire world has heard of by now. It's pretty much a given that after reading Twilight, you'll have one of two reactions:
1) You'll absolutely despise it, and scoff at everyone who has the nerve to actually consider it a worthy read
or
2) You'll absolutely adore it, and fall madly in love with Edward or Jacob (never both, however, because you have to choose one or the other to be a truly loyal/insane fangirl) and obsess over your chosen beloved for months to come.
Then, inevitably, you'll reread the book, because you just can't stay away. Upon re-reading, you begin to notice all the little imperfections, such as Stephanie Meyer's less-than-amazing writing style (she's still awesome, though XD) or Edward's slightly condescending nature, or Bella's striking plainness, or the fact that there isn't really a reason for them to be so madly in love, etc etc.

THEN COMES BOOK TWO-- New Moon.
New Moon sparked a completely different reaction. When I first started it, and reached the part when Edward leaves, I was absolutely crushed. Then I reached the blank pages ("November" "January" "Randommonth"-- you ALL know what I'm talking about, exactly.) I was devastated. I just started crying, and kept up a heavy stream of tears for a vast majority of the book. If you didn't really like Jacob in the previous book, you absolutely hated him now; If you sided with Jacob in the previous book, then you absolutely adored him now-- there was no in between with fans. New Moon is, as many many many fans of both Edward and Jacob agree, THE WORST BOOK IN THE SAGA. It was just a bunch of wondering when Edward would reappear (I eventually couldn't put up with the werewolf side of the story-- "I was a wolf girl now," or whatever the exact quote was, totally set me over the edge-- and had to skip ahead until Edward's name showed up in the text again XD) & Wishing Jacob would stop calling Bella "honey" every five seconds. All in all it was a terrible experience, and I probably wasted up a lifetime of tears by the time I was finished reading it. @_____@

About a year later, Eclipse came out, and pleased everyone.
Sort of.
It started off great: Prospects of Bella becoming a vampire soon, Edward back and better than ever, lots of cute emotional exchanges between the two. . . It seemed perfect. But then Jacob gets all emo, and Edward is kind of a jerk, and Bella. . . well, she's just downright annoying, what with her epic fail of an attempt to seduce Edward (I'm pretty sure that had everyone blushing XD) and her overall SELFISHNESS, everyone was kind of fed up with her. She used to be a strong character, and then she turned all wimpy and whiny. It sucked. First she's all "HAY, imma just keep secrets from my beloved Edward now so that I can go see Jacob, MY Jacob." and then "Yeah, there's a huge fight about to break out, Edward, but you should stick with me in this stupid tent while I stand outside of it a make out with your enemy, Jacob, instead of fighting along side your family!" She was awful, and pretty much all the readers who could realize for five seconds that they weren't actually Bella (as many like to pretend. . . ) lost all respect for her. BUT, at least it ended well. & Edward says the sweetest things, so the book was still okay in the end. [X Oh, we're all so easily won over~

And, now the series has ended with Breaking Dawn.
At first, I despised this stupid book. I mean, first it leaps right into the wedding, which wasn't necessarily bad, but it was really rushed. Then, there's the whole Jacob-and-Edward-fight right in the middle of the reception, which kind of sucked, because although I hate to admit it-- I loved Jacob after book 3 :D Not as much as Edward, but still. He had grown on me. THEN, BAM! As soon as they're on honeymoon, Bella is back to being obsessed with Vampiric Sex. Which they have. In the ocean? XD And, of course, we needed to have some angst for the book to start off properly, and therefor Edward was the most annoying person ever for a few pages: "Bella, I'm so sorry. I know I hurt you. Dont' spare my feelings! I'm such a monsterrrrrrrrrr~!" Luckily for Bella, though, she woke up crying one night over a Vampiric Sex Dream, and successfully coerced Edward into having. . . MORE VAMPIRIC SEX.
Just when I thought the book couldn't get any worse. . . it does, when we find out that BELLA IS PREGNANT WITH EDWARD'S VAMPIRE SPAWN?! What a cop out. That turned an entire series of (somewhat-poorly-written and overly-angsty) amazing books into the cheesiest and most dramatic love story evarrrrr. I was thoroughly disappointed.
Luckily, with the next chapter was the beginning of "Book Two: Jacob", which was refreshingly un-cheesy. It made me appreciate Jacob's normalcy (well, not that he's really normal, but whatever.) more than I ever thought I could [X I should have known, though, that it was only a matter of time before the book became cheesy again: He visits the Cullen's house in a furious rage, only to find a pregnant and annoyingly frail/irrational Bella, a heartbreakingly distraught/crazy Edward, and Rosalie-- more obscenely and annoyingly self-righteous/centered than ever, though she tries to hide it by projecting her insanity on everyone who threatens her chances of getting Bella's baby for herself helping Bella protect her unborn child.
Then a ton of repetitive and boring stuff happens: Jacob bonds with his new pack, Edward enlists Jacob's help, Edward goes crazy over Bella's mortality, Jacob goes crazy over Bella's mortality, everyone keeps going on about how Bella is going to die, everyone obsesses over how Bella is starving and such, Bella keeps obsessing over her unborn child, the reader gets fed up with the character's obvious stupidity for not realizing sooner that a HALF VAMPIRE baby needs BLOOD, etc etc.
& THEN, BAM, THE BLOOD WORKS, the baby is developing quickly, then Bella effs everything up by bending over & breaking the placent, and then the baby is delivered, killing Bella in the process, although BAM, another long-awaited twist, EDWARD SAVES HER WITH HIS VENOMMMMMM.

Then the good stuff begins.
Bella wakes up from her vampire-coma, and is a new born. . . WITH AMAZING RESTRAINT. So the no-doubt unbearable period (in which Bella probably wouldn't even recognize her love of Edward) that every fan was dreading from the beginning. . . was successfully avoided! Yesssss~ It was replaced with an awesome sort-of-montage of Bella parading around with awesome new vampy senses that all the readers delighted in learning about.
From then on the book just keeps getting better: The reader discovers that Jacob has imprinted on Bella's child [Renesmee] (Which had me gasping in shocked laughter for a good 5 minutes; It was the PERFECT PLOT TWIST), we all discover that Bella is actually pretty B.A. now that she's a vampire, Edward and Bella get to have vampiresex all they want now, and they all get to live happily as a weird family that all adore the new babinz. HOORAY. Seriously, I was in a state of good-story-induced bliss.
THEN IT JUST GETS BETTER.
Well, not really. The story does get more instense, which was a nice change from the everything-is-great-and-we're-all-awesome-yay path the story had just gone down. They gather a huge group of vampires, and they're all really cool. We all learn about Bella's cool power that seems sort of lame until she ends up pretty much saving everyone from the Rath of the Volturi on the battle field 8D
Then everyone is safe again, Jacob and Renesmee get to be together in a few short years, and Edward and Bella truly do end up together forever.

All in all, the "saga" was pretty good. I mean, the writing wasn't amazing, and neither was the plot at certain points, but I love it just the same. [X

• I'm going to;

Take a break from Xanga.
I don't really have much to post about unless I want to pour my brain out into long rants, which many Xangans aren't tolerant of.
XDDD

I'll still post stuff, but it's going to be random crap that doesn't really matter.
For the stuff that does matter, though, I'm going back to blogger >:D muhahahhaa~

• Update;

I spent a week with Winky and her family in Minnesota at this cabin. It was really fun; We basically sat in the basement reading or playing cards or listening to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, or listening to me read aloud "Lust for Life", which was some weird old fictional biography of Vincent Van Gogh that's out of print. We went out on the lake for a day, too, in the slow boat we rented, which was my favourite part * w*

I've been back for a while, though, and basically I've been obsessing over the Harry Potter series, working on my Anime Iowa outfit, writing, and watching John and Kate Plus Eight. I don't have much of a life XD Nothing ever changes. I want to move to Ireland. Or maybe just some place with a good school and cute boys. With accents.

School starts in three days; Anime Iowa starts tomorrow. I'm not really excited about either D: Mainly because I wasted my entire summer. MY. ENTIRE. SUMMER. Wasted. D:

Well, imma go. I'll post after Anime Iowa :3

• I'd just like to say;

That Harry Potter is awesome,
and people who have never read it definitely should.
RIGHTNOW.

I really don't understand why so many people hate the Harry Potter series o___o;;; Seriously.
They're amazing-- I mean, really, I grew up with these books, so it's weird to think that people won't even give them a chance D:
They're not just "kid books," because trust me, those books are daaarrrkkkk. The last book reminds me of a second holocaust X3 They're depressing-- I haven't read a single book since Goblet of Fire without bawling my eyes out. @______@ But they're also amazing, and awesome, and MAGICALLLLL, and the characters are the best characters out of any story evur told, EVARRR.

XDDDDDDD

Also, the movies suck and the casting is terribly off concerning certain roles,
but other than that they are hilariously inaccurate,
and therefore fun to watch 8D

GO READ THE BOOKS, STUPID.

It's raining;

& I wish I could go outside and lay in the grass & get soaked,
but my parents would find that bizarre and force me to come inside.
I'm currently trying to think of a plan to get them both out of the house.
@_____@;;

Anyhows, in the meantime, the perfect future!:

I would marry some guy that's really cute, but not hot, because hot guys are great to look at but not that great to date-- cute guys are much better, and nicer. Hopefully he resembles Ron Weasley, because I've got a weakness for redheads. Or Oliver Wood, because who doesn't love him? [X OR!! Remus Lupin, you know, the shabby-ish-professor-that's-insanely-intelligent-and-cute-and-caring-with-a-dark-ish-past-that--he-wants-to-protect-you-from-which-makes-him-all-the-more-loveable kinda guy. ;D Most importantly, we'll be in looooooveeeeee.
Hopefully he'd be rich. Not so that I can have nice stuff or a big house, because I don't really care about that. No, he needs to be rich so that I can buy all the books I want. I'm not kidding. That is my dream in life-- to see a book I want and be able to buy it. Do you know how frustrating it is to go into a book store with intentions of reading the hundreds of AMAZING books there, when you can only afford 2? Indescribably maddening. So, he needs some money.
Sorry to sound stereotypical, but he'll be the working one. Well, maybe we'll both work. But I want to write books, so he'll definitely need a job. I don't care if that sounds stupid, or too dependent. I don't want to work, I want to sit at home and bake cakes and write whenever I want and read books every day. Honestly.
I want a small house thats warm and cozy, with a big yard and a lot of privacy. When it rains, I'm going to lay on my lawn and get soaked, and it's going to be awesome. When it's sunny, I'm going to go outside and swing on the old-fashioned wooden swing tied to a tree that we'll have. When the weather is autumn-y I'm going to spend every single day outside, reading or writing or painting, with lots of music.
Every night before bed we'll take turns reading to each other. & There will be lots of cuddling, even though that word is stupid. XD

& That, so far, is my dream life.

• Alrightttt;

My summer so far has been:

1) Marveling at all the free time ahead of me, on the first official day of summer.
2) Vacation in PA.
3) Total slack-osity when it comes to keeping up my diary, which is kind of important to me D;
4) Wondering why all of my friends have plans every single day. . . that don't involve me.
5) Realizing that the majority of the free time I previously coveted is gone, and I have no good stories to show for it! Dx
6) Writing, but not getting any farther than a start on some ideas D:
7) NOSTALGIA.
8) Harry Potterrrrrrr!
9) A teeensy bit of self loathing now & then.
10) Being bitter about this terrible summer. All of my time is wasting awaaaayyyyyyy~

Not a single late-night trip to Walgreens, or mermaid-y trip to the pool, with Winky!
No late nights watching awful youtube videos or playing the Sims with Devin!
I haven't so much as SEEN Alex all summer!
Or Jordan!
& There haven't been any lazy days watching Lifetime with Jenn!

;__________;

Things I need to do before summer ends:
1) Actually SEE ALEX XD
2) SHIMMERING PEARL & SINGING WAVE. that's all I've got to say about that XD
3) Find friends that will actually have time for me >;3
4) Finish a few stories.
5) Watch loads of crappy movies with Jenn.
6) Go take pictures with Jordan.
7) Have Devin over a lot more often :3
8) GET A LIFE @________@
9) Make my dad a website, for which he seems to have a desperate want o___O;
10) Watch more anime! TT_____TT

By the way, John and Kate Plus Eight is addicting XDD

• The Twilight Movie;

IS GOING TO BE THE CHEESIEST THING EVER.
"Beeeeauuuutiful.; Very visually dynamic,"
"You're alone. . . you're faster than the others. . . but not stronger. . . I'M stronger!"

XDDDDDD!

Are they serious?!
AS IF merely hitting his head would actually knock Edward out of breath; Edward would kill James in a second considering he's in his "Must Save Bella" mood!
Dx
& What's with all the blurry fast-motion crap o____O Their 'movie magic' is pathetico!

OH, and by the way VAMPIRES. DON'T. FLY

ARGGGG, I really don't know if I want to see the movie; I saw the teaser trailer, and Kristen Stewart (Bella) is the worst actress evarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrĀ =_________=;
They're like, in a forrest, and she looks all scared and her back is turned to Edward and she goes "How old are you?" and Rob Pattinson (Edward) goes "Seventeen." and then she gulps and asks "How long have you been seventeen?" in this quivering voice that isn't Bella-like at all and the Edward says "A while. . ." and then the scene ends, which is when the trailer gets even worse.
Edward and Bella are in a kitchen or something and she goes "I'm not afraid of you," but she says it in a really odd way, like the she's trying to show the audience that she's cool or something but isn't doing a good job of acting it out, and then Edward says "You really shouldn't have said that. . .[Insert hot crooked smile that doesn't quite make up for lack of truth to the books displayed throughout the movie.] " and then all of a sudden he pulls her onto his back and they fly out the window in a blur.

SERIOUSLY?!?!?
Seriously?! I'm sorry, but that NEVER. HAPPENS.
Is this like, a way for them to cut out the Pasture scene?!?!?!? Also known as THE BEST SCENE IN THE ENTIRE BOOK? Did they think to themselves: "Hey, you know what? The effects it would take to make Edward's skin sparkle in the sun during that pasture scene would cost an awful lot to produce. . . Hey! We'll just cut the scene, and then have Edward and Bella fly out a window while it's overcast, to demonstrate Edwards speed! Perfect!"

OH WAIT! I FOUND THE EMBED URL!

"This is wronggg, Edward, she's not one of us!"

There, do you see how AWFUL it is? @___________@

It's the most pathetically comical thing I've ever watched.
XDD

I'm appalled TT___________________TT
